     With more than 30 years of accounting experience, Nick Hano leads Hano CPAs Inc. with a commitment to helping business owners make confident financial decisions. As the firm's Managing Partner, Nick works closely with small to medium sized businesses, particularly those in the service, construction, and related industries.

 

     Nick’s strength lies in understanding the bigger picture of a business. Whether assisting with tax matters, business transactions, financing opportunities, or long-term planning, he provides practical guidance designed to help clients protect their assets, improve performance, and achieve their goals.

     Nick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Lehigh University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Scott S. Pruyn, CPA

  

     Scott brings more than three decades of public accounting experience combined with extensive corporate leadership experience. Before returning his full focus to public accounting, Scott served as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller for several mid-sized companies, giving him a unique perspective on the financial challenges business owners face every day.

 

     His background allows him to look beyond the numbers and provide clients with valuable operational insight, financial strategies, and practical solutions. Scott works with closely held businesses, partnerships, limited liability companies, nonprofit organizations, and individuals in the areas of accounting, auditing, consulting, and tax planning.

 

     Clients appreciate Scott’s ability to combine the perspective of a CPA with the mindset of a business owner, helping them make informed decisions that support long-term success.

 

     Scott graduated with honors from Drexel University, earning dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting. He is a member of the AICPA and PICPA.

Kristin Chiccarine, CPA

 

     Kristin brings a unique blend of analytical thinking, communication skills, and client-focused problem solving to Hano CPAs Inc. After beginning her career in teaching and technical writing, Kristin transitioned into accounting, bringing with her the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable way.

     Kristin specializes in providing year-round accounting support and helping clients improve their internal processes. She is particularly skilled in QuickBooks and enjoys helping business owners streamline their systems, organize their financial information, and make accounting more manageable.

​

     Clients value Kristin’s patience, attention to detail, and ability to make financial information easier to understand, turning accounting from a challenge into a valuable business tool.

     Kristin graduated from the University of Delaware Honors Program with a BA in Biology and Italian and is actively involved with Quilts for Kids Inc., a nonprofit organization providing handmade quilts to children with life-threatening conditions.
