Nick Hano, CPA 

 

As managing partner of Hano CPAs Inc., Nick has over 30 years of accounting experience. He provides services for small- to medium-sized businesses and works primarily with service-oriented businesses, construction companies and related industries. His services include federal, state and local tax audits, the sale of companies and business assets, and assisting companies secure financing, such as lines of credit or mortgages.

Nick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Lehigh University and is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA and PICPA).

 

Steven A. Ginsberg, CPA

  

Steve Ginsberg has been providing clients with tax and auditing services, including certified audits and compiled, reviewed and not-for-profit financial statements for over 30 years. Steve also provides tax planning and tax preparation services, along with consultation services primarily for non-public companies and for individuals.

Steve graduated from Philadelphia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration as well as Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is also a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA and PICPA).

Steve also does extensive charitable work for both the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Cancer Society.

 

Timothy W. Duerr, CPA

  

Tim Duerr has over 35 years of tax and financial accounting experience working with closely-held businesses and individuals. Services provided include the areas of audit, review and compilation reporting, as well as business, individual and trust taxation and planning. Tim has extensive experience in manufacturing, construction, retail and service industries, and works with the accounting staff on training and problem resolution in computer tax return preparation.

A graduate of LaSalle University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Tim is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA and PICPA).
 

Gena D. Willard, CPA

  

Gena Willard has over 20 years of public accounting experience, and has been working with Hano CPAs Inc. for over 20 years. Her experience includes providing audits, consultations, review and compilation reporting, and tax planning services for small- to medium-sized businesses.

Gena is a graduate of West Chester University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Gena is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

​

As an active member of the community, Gena serves as a trustee and board member for the Ocean City Tabernacle.

 

Scott S. Pruyn, CPA

 

Scott Pruyn has been practicing public accounting since 1988. Additionally he has served over the last two decades as both Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller for several mid-sized companies in the specialty retail, commercial and residential construction, and mortgage banking industries. He currently provides accounting, audit, consulting, tax planning and compliance services for closely held corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, non-profit organizations and individuals.

Scott graduated from Drexel University with honors where he earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in both Finance and Accounting. He also is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA and PICPA).

​

Outside of public accounting, Scott has been a PADI scuba diving instructor since 1981, owns and operates several small businesses, has served consecutive terms as treasurer of the Skippack, PA Business Association and is active in various charitable organizations helping indigenous peoples of North America.

 

Laura P. Leeds, CPA

  

Laura Leeds has been with Hano & Ginsberg, LLP for over 10 years. Working primarily with small- to medium-sized corporations, partnerships and individuals, Laura has extensive experience in audit, review and compilation reporting, as well as tax planning and preparation.

Laura is a graduate of LaSalle University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. Laura is also a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

 

Kristin Chiccarine, CPA

  

Kristin graduated from the University of Delaware Honors Program with a BA in Biology and Italian. After a career in teaching and technical writing, she decided to pursue her interest in accounting and ultimately became a CPA. She has worked in private industry, but prefers to work in public accounting in a small firm environment where she can focus on the needs of her clients. In addition to providing year-round accounting support, Kristin especially enjoys sharing her Quickbooks expertise and streamlining in house procedures in an effort to make tax time less daunting.

Kristin is also actively involved with Quilts for Kids Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, which provides handmade quilts made by volunteers to children with life-threatening conditions.
